California Primary Care Association (CPCA) Loan Program
Sector: Health Care
Created in 1999 by NCB Capital Impact for the California Primary Care Association (CPCA), this program was funded with an initial $5 million grant from The California Endowment (TCE) and a $1 million loan from NCB Capital Impact. NCB Capital Impact created lending guidelines designed to provide CPCA’s members with easy access to financing while maintaining sound credit policy. TCE subsequently made an additional $5 million grant, increasing the total pool to $11 million. NCB Capital Impact underwrites, closes and manages every loan and retains sole authority for credit decisions. The program has made over $20 million in loans.
Charter School Capital Access Program (CCAP) Program
Sector: Education/Charter Schools
CCAP is a $45 million loan pool designed to provide charter schools with access to affordable financing for facility acquisitions and renovations. Loans of up to $4.5 million are available to organizations in DE, NJ, NY, PA, and DC.
The Enhancement Fund
Sector: Education/Charter Schools
The Enhancement Fund represents a $60 million loan pool for charter schools in GA, FL, MN, OH, MI and WI. Loans are available for acquisition, construction, and leasehold improvements.
THE GREEN HOUSE® Replication Initiative- Pre-Development Financing
Sector: Long-Term Care
The Green House Replication Initiative Predevelopment Loan (PDL) Fund is designed to provide hard-to-obtain predevelopment dollars to assist projects, assess project feasibility, obtain control of a site, and fund architect, engineering and other third party expenses. If a funded project is deemed by NCB Capital Impact to be infeasible, it in its sole discretion may forgive all or a portion of the predevelopment loan. Learn more about this PDL fund. (PDF, 195 KB*)
New Markets Tax Credits
Sectors: Health Care, Education/Charter Schools
NCB Capital Impact was awarded $200+ million for deployment to health care and education sectors nationwide. Investors now get: 1) a highly-skilled CDE with a proven track record in the target market sectors; 2) risk–adjusted rate of return; and 3) a channel to provide educational opportunities to children in low-income neighborhoods and accessible health care for the medically underserved.
